What is ABA?

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a type of treatment that is frequently used with individuals who have autism and other developmental disorders. It focuses on teaching abilities in particular functional domains, including social skills, communication, academic and learning abilities, motor dexterity, hygiene and grooming, and more. The purpose of treatment is to enable individuals to live as successfully and independently as possible.
